Our Story
One evening in 2000, I decided to pick up an old guitar passed down from my grandma. I learned to play three chords: G, D, and A7. It was then that a love for playing guitar was born. That love for playing changed into seeing others learn and come alive from experiencing that same passion I had experienced so many years ago.
Eighteen years later that love, passion, and vision turned into what today is known as Guitar Authority™. At Guitar Authority™ we are dedicated to making the highest quality products on the market. That’s why we are dedicated to all-American manufacturing and materials made 100% in the USA.
We use only the finest materials for our strings. It starts with a high-carbon core wire: the foundation for any good string. The core wire resists overstretching, keeping the wrap wire intact longer and making a set of strings that keeps its tone longer than other lesser quality strings on the market today. Our plain strings undergo a special tinning process for corrosion resistance, so their beautiful tone is retained.

Sam Swanson
Sam Swanson is an American singer/songwriter with a soulful croon that occasionally spits bars. He is a full-time solo cover artist, pop singer, and touring musician with over 2 decades of experience. He is known for putting his own unique artistic spin on classic pop tunes spanning the past 6+ Decades using his powerful voice, acoustic guitar, and looping pedal for percussion. Specializing in Weddings, Cocktail Hours, Corporate Events, Private Parties, Festivals, Wineries, Breweries, and Pub performances. Sam also does freelance studio work as a score composer, beat maker, guest vocalist, voice over, and also has done some video editing along with minimal acting. James Vincent Carroll
A North Carolina based full-time singer/songwriter. Â After years of working day jobs and playing music every night, Carroll stepped into full time music in 2014 and has been performing 240-300 events of all types per year ever since. Â

Greg Martinez
Greg Martinez started playing bass at a young age in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he was born and raised. He’s been told that he has a mixture of Rock, Jazz, and Blues combined style of bass playing. He is a self-taught bassist, and after a few years of playing bass, also had interest in playing guitar. He learned guitar with the same passion as he did for bass. He proficiently plays both bass and guitar, but bass is his main instrument.
His musical genre comprises Rock, Blues, Christian, Funk, Reggae, Latin and Jazz. He is also been the studio bassist for a local professional recording studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico for over 20 years. He has also been on hundreds of recordings over the years, and records for local Artists, as well as Artists all over the USA. Many of the songs can be heard on different radio stations locally, and across the country.
